Cursor Bugbot vs CodeRabbit comes down to noise against coverage. On the same 50 open-source pull requests with 158 known issues, CodeRabbit found 94 and Bugbot 74, but CodeRabbit also posted 194 findings that matched none, to Bugbot's 56. That gives Bugbot the higher F1, 51.4% to 42.2%.[1]
They do not find the same bugs: both found 54, CodeRabbit alone 40 and Bugbot alone 20, so together they found 114.[1] Bugbot bills about $1.00–$1.50 a review;[2] CodeRabbit Essentials is $24 per developer a month billed annually.[3] IonWarp is the third option: its Code Review scored 49.2%.
Bugbot posted 2.6 findings a pull request and CodeRabbit 5.8. On 17 of the 50 pull requests no Bugbot finding went unmatched; on CodeRabbit's reviews, 6.[1]
It found 20 more known issues, and found none on 7 pull requests to Bugbot's 9. Our full CodeRabbit review has examples.[1]
At Cursor's average, a $24 Essentials seat equals 16 to 24 Bugbot reviews a month, before the Cursor plan.[2][3] Below that Bugbot costs less; above it CodeRabbit does. Bugbot reviews every push by default, so pushes count, not only pull requests. Bugbot pricing, worked out.
Bugbot needs a Cursor plan that includes it, Premium and up.[4] CodeRabbit needs no other subscription. Both cover GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps.[5][6]
Each cell: F1, then known issues found and findings that matched none. Only the code review row is a ranked result. The others use provisional answer keys on small sets, and score each app's general review against a narrower key, so read them as a direction. The app reviews date from January to April 2026. IonWarp's column is the model each reviewer runs by default (for docs, its retry model, Gemini 3.8 Flash), on the full set where the apps ran on fewer pull requests.

On the one ranked table, code review, Bugbot: an F1 of 51.4% to 42.2% on 50 pull requests. CodeRabbit found 20 more known issues and posted 138 more unmatched findings. Across all six review types each leads on three, and the other five tables are provisional. Choose Bugbot for fewer comments, CodeRabbit for more bugs found.
It depends on volume. Bugbot averages $1.00–$1.50 a review (Cursor, Nov 2026) and CodeRabbit Essentials is $24 per developer a month billed annually (CodeRabbit pricing page, Nov 2026). A developer who triggers more than about 24 reviews a month pays less on CodeRabbit; one who triggers fewer than about 16 pays less on Bugbot, before the cost of the Cursor plan.
Yes. Each posts its own review on the pull request. On our benchmark together they found 114 of 158 known issues, more than either alone, and you pay for and read both.
You need a Cursor plan that includes it: Premium, Super, Ultra, Teams or Enterprise. Your developers do not have to write their code in Cursor.
IonWarp prices per workspace, not per developer or per review: $49/mo on Pro for 5 seats. It runs Code Review on every pull request and adds reviewers for security, performance, docs and architecture when the diff needs them. It reviews GitHub only.
