A second reviewer next to GitHub Copilot code review
GitHub Copilot code review reviews pull requests in any language, identifies issues and suggests fixes you can apply in a couple of clicks. It works on GitHub.com, in VS Code, Visual Studio, Xcode and JetBrains IDEs, and in GitHub CLI and GitHub Mobile, and it can review pull requests automatically once a user, repository or organization turns that on.[1] It is included in the Copilot Student, Pro, Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise plans.[2]
IonWarp is a second reviewer that did not write the code. Install the GitHub app and every pull request — whoever or whatever wrote it — gets a swarm of specialist reviewers: Code Review traces the change across files, Security Review looks for exploitable changes, API Performance checks the hot path and Docs Freshness flags docs and instruction files the diff made false. Each reviewer is pinned to the model that measured best for its lens (Deepseek v4.1 Flash, GLM 5.3 Flash, GPT 5.6 Luna Pro).
Every finding lands on the pull request with a suggested fix and an AI fix prompt you can hand to Copilot. When the fix is pushed, IonWarp re-reviews it and tracks each finding until it is resolved or explicitly declined. Starter is free for 3 seats with 15,000 credits on signup; Pro is $49/mo for the whole workspace.
Competitor facts are from each vendor's own pricing page and docs, dated in the sources below; “Not listed” means the page names no such feature. IonWarp's column is read from its own pricing and reviewer catalog.

Each reviewer comments on the line it is about, with the change that fixes it. Reply learn: to teach the whole project, push the fix, and the re-review closes the finding.

Yes. Both post on the same pull request. Keep Copilot as the first pass and add IonWarp's specialist reviewers for code, security, performance, docs and architecture, which review independently of the tool that wrote the code.
Copilot code review is GitHub's reviewer built into Copilot, and GitHub selects its model automatically. IonWarp runs separate specialist reviewers — code, security, performance, docs, architecture and more — each pinned to the model that measured best for its lens, and tracks every finding across pushes until it is resolved or declined.
It can be either a replacement or a second reviewer. IonWarp reviews every pull request on its own, with no Copilot subscription, or next to Copilot code review on the same pull request.
No. Reviews run on IonWarp's hosted service, so they use none of your Actions runners or minutes.
Yes. Every finding includes a suggested fix and an AI fix prompt. Paste it into Copilot Chat or hand it to Copilot's agent; when the fix is pushed, IonWarp re-reviews and marks each finding resolved, declined or still open.
